International Baccalaureate (IB)
Students who have completed an IB diploma with a minimum score of 30 will be awarded 30 credits toward their degree and, in some cases, toward major and general education requirements. They may contact the office of Student Advising Services at (716) 645-6013 for more information.
Students who completed an IB diploma with a score of 29 or less and students who did not complete a diploma are guaranteed credit only for higher-level exams with scores of "5" or better. This credit will apply toward their degree and, in some cases, toward major and general education requirements. No credit is awarded for IB English language exams taken in a non-native English-speaking country or by a student whose native language is not English. A maximum of 30 credits may be awarded for IB exams.
