Ranked among the top schools of pharmacy in the United States, and the only school of pharmacy in the State University of New York system, the School of Pharmacy and Pharamceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo offers an entry-level doctor of pharmacy degree as well as a four-year baccalaureate and a five-year combined bachelor of science/master of science degree in pharmaceutics.
1. Bachelor of science in pharmaceutics (see p. 191)
2. Doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
This is a six-year entry-level program that is licensure qualifying. An undergraduate degree is not required to enter this program. Contact the pharmacy admissions office for further information.
Pharm.D./M.B.A., Pharm.D./Ph.D. degree programs are also available.
3. Bachelor of science/master of science in pharmaceutics
This combined degree program requires five years to complete, shortening the traditional length of these two degrees by one year.
